It's worth combing their usage with HP recovery items to compliment their negative side effects which deplete HP upon every successful strike.
In my opinion Royal Arms are extremely useful in small doses, particularly early in the game when your stats are somewhat limited. In this guide you'll find all of the Royal Tomb locations on the map, helping you collect each of the Royal Arms. These special weapons are incredibly powerful but come with harmful HP side effects.
Final Fantasy XV contains a total of 13 Royal Arms which are hidden inside Royal Tombs.
